Moving around has been our normal. At Denison U. I met Rick and followed him a year later to Los Angeles, marrying in '77. I worked in retail then wholesale furniture sales which I continued when we moved to Chicago for 4 years. Back to LA for 2 then Hong Kong for 2 and now have been in Huntington Beach for 34 years. In my mid 40's, I went back to school to get my multiple subject teaching credential and ended up teaching 1st grade. I retired after 10 years to provide respite care for my brother, who was caring for our dad. Volunteering for church and community organizations has been a constant as well as watching Rick and son Mike surf.

Thanks Vicky Hoag Poole for the welcome to 70 letter. My husband and I both celebrated by driving to Vegas to see Carlos Santana then lots of lunches and dinners with friends and last night heard Coldplay music by a string quartet with our kids. Rick's goal was to surf on his 70th and of course our son joined him. I wish you all have the best celebration, reaching a goal, and doing what you enjoy with family and friends. Thanks to reunion and reunion committee, we recently had dinner with Nora Mueller Baars and her husband. Thanks also to putting the names underneath the Reunion photos! If you are in southern California, let me know.
